The Senior Manager of Finance will be responsible for developing financial models, working closely with our customers.
About Us
Profitual is a high-growth startup based in Fredericton, NB. We have created a financial intelligence platform that enables small-to-mid-size customers to easily create financial projections, scenario analysis, metric benchmarking, and forecast-to-actual analysis. Our platform integrates with major accounting software such as QuickBooks and Xero, As we continue to rapidly expand our customer base, we are seeking a Senior Manager of Finance to play a strategic role in supporting the company and its clients.
Position Overview
Reporting to the CFO, the Senior Manager of Finance will be responsible for developing financial models and projections and working closely with our customers. This role involves devising strategies to drive customer satisfaction, retention, and growth. The successful candidate will also influence our product roadmap by advising the development team on key feature needs based on customer feedback and their own testing of software. Additionally, the Senior Manager of Finance will lead one-time financial projects, including benchmarking, custom model builds, and other financial analyses.
Responsibilities
- Build financial models for customers that consider their key operating assumptions and goals.
- Assist clients in becoming proficient with our financial intelligence software.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, acting as a trusted advisor and advocate for their needs.
- Develop and execute strategies to drive customer satisfaction, retention, and growth.
- Provide critical input to improve our financial intelligence platform through both customer feedback and personal testing.
- Perform additional financial-related tasks as required in our rapidly growing startup environment.
Qualifications and Skills
- 5+ years of experience in financial analysis or related roles
- Proven experience with financial projections and models
- CPA designation required
- Strong communication skills with a client-centric approach
- Exceptional analytical skills
