We're currently seeking a Fintech Business lead to accelerate our mission of democratizing financial intelligence. In this role, you'll provide valuable insights and enhance processes to establish strong financial modelling, making financial intelligence accessible to small and medium sized enterprises.
Objectives of the Role
- Support the ongoing execution and progression of both product-led and consulting based client engagements,
- Identify trends across the client cohort and provide insights to internal product development team,
- Analyze market conditions, regulatory changes, and internal processes to identify potential risks and develop risk management strategies,
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support new market entries, product launches, or business expansion strategies.
Responsibilities
Your duties during this time include but are not limited to:
- Complete tasks for clients as required which may include budgets/forecasts, actual to budget analysis, board reporting, and general financial analysis of their operations,
- Assist clients with relevant financial intelligence via third-party market research,
- Outlining policies, procedures, and best practices for clients in implementing financial intelligence throughout an organization,
- Liase with the Profitual development team to ensure that the platform meets the needs of the clients; and
- Onboarding clients onto the Profitual platform, providing customer success support as required.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Financial Analyst, preferably in a startup or high-growth environment
- Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills
- Proficient in managing responsibilities and meeting deadlines with limited supervision
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis
- Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software (ex: Excel)
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders
Preferred skills
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Previous experience consulting with start-ups
- Willingness to travel
